Terms of Service

These Terms govern all quotes, supply and installation services provided by Local Flooring Sydney (ABN 12 345 678 901, NSW Building Licence #287654C). By accepting a quote, paying a deposit or engaging us to perform work, you agree to these Terms. They are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and operate alongside your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)).

Quotes are free, written and valid for 30 days. Quotes are based on the on-site measure and information you provide. Any change to the scope, materials or subfloor condition discovered after work begins may result in a written variation, agreed and signed before any additional work commences.

We will install the products and perform the work described in your written quote. Subfloor preparation, moisture testing, old-floor removal and rubbish disposal are included as listed in your quote. Items outside the quote (e.g. plumbing, electrical, asbestos handling, structural work) are not included and must be handled by an appropriately licensed trade.

You agree to provide safe, lawful access to the site, working power and water, parking close to the entry, and a clear work area. Where furniture removal is included, fragile items, electronics and clothing must be packed away beforehand.

All work is performed in accordance with Australian Standards including AS 1884-2021 (Floor coverings — resilient sheet and tiles), AS 2455-2007 (Textile floor coverings — installation), AS/NZS 4858 (Wet area membranes) and AS 1860.2 (Particleboard and MDF flooring — installation), where applicable. We hold current public liability insurance.

Workmanship is covered by our written 10-year warranty. Manufacturer product warranties apply separately. See our full Warranty terms.

Our liability under these Terms (other than non-excludable Australian Consumer Law guarantees) is limited, at our option, to re-supply or rectification of the affected work, or refund of the price paid for the affected work. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or economic loss.

Brand names mentioned on this site (including Google, Cavalier Bremworth, Godfrey Hirst, Feltex, Westfield, Stockland, Mirvac, Lendlease, Coles Group, Commonwealth Bank, Hilton, Optus and similar) are the property of their respective owners. Local Flooring Sydney is an independent Australian business and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or partnered with Google LLC or any other brand referenced. Any references to commercial work performed for these organisations relate to specific projects delivered through facilities, builders or strata partners and do not imply ongoing endorsement. The Google name and "G" mark are used solely to indicate publicly available customer reviews on Google Maps.

Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of NSW.
